Top 10 Beautycounter Products to Buy During Sale

Hey y’all-hope you’ve had a great week. It’s hard to believe another week of the fastest summer ever has gone by! Anyways, this week is exciting because Beautycounter is having a 15% off sale! If you follow me on Instagram, you may have already heard this, but I wanted to be sure and fill everyone in on this exciting news. So today I’m sharing the top 10 Beautycounter products to buy during this sale. I’ve selected products that suit a variety of skin types, and I’ve personally used all of these things.

In case you’ve never heard of Beautycounter, it’s a beauty product brand committed to getting safer products in the hands of everyone. Beautycounter bans 1500 harmful or questionable ingredients from all their products. They also lobby for increased regulation in the US cosmetics industry. It’s been over 80 years since the US has passed a major law regulating the personal care products industry. Thus, many of the products in stores contain irritants, hormone disrupters, and carcinogens.

You can read more about Beautycounter and their mission in this post. In full disclosure, I am a Beautycounter consultant, and will earn a commission if you decide to purchase anything through my website. However, I genuinely love Beautycounter products, and wholeheartedly support the company’s mission.

Now, without further ado, here goes my top 10 picks for Beautycounter products to buy during the sale. Note that these are in no particular order.

1. Sheer Lipstick

Honestly, I think lipstick is my favorite Beautycounter product. It’s what I most look forward to using every day. Beautycounter has two different lipstick formulas, and the sheer is one of them. Beautycounter sheer lipstick is lighter coverage, but you can add multiple layers for bolder color. It has a delicious vanilla flavor, and is moisturizing. Bonus-Beautycounter Sheer Lipstick comes in the most gorgeous gold tube. My favorite shade I’ve tried is the Rose Shimmer, pictured below:

2. Color Intense Lipstick

The Color Intense is Beautycounter’s other lipstick formula. This one is more pigmented than the sheer, and gives you bold color with just one swipe. Beautycounter Color Intense Lipstick has a tasty peppermint flavor. I’m wearing the First Date shade in the picture below:

3. Charcoal Mask

I incorporate the Beautycounter Charcoal Mask into my nighttime routine 2-3 times a week. It makes me feel like I’m getting a home spa treatment, which I love. The charcoal mask works to absorb excess oil and deep clean your pores, so it’s especially great if your skin is on the oily side or you have pimples. Shop the Beautycounter Charcoal Mask here.

4. Overnight Resurfacing Peel

The Overnight Resurfacing Peel is one of Beautycounter’s newer products. I use this as the treatment step (after cleansing, before moisturizing) in my skincare regimen approximately every other night. The peel works while you sleep to slough away dead skin cells and reveal a brighter and more radiant complexion. I love the glow my skin has in the mornings after I use the peel. It’s also good if you have dark spots. Shop the Beautycounter Overnight Resurfacing Peel here.

5. Cleansing Balm

This multi-tasking balm is one of Beautycounter’s best-sellers. You can use it as a makeup remover, cleanser, or overnight moisturizer. A little bit goes a long way, so the jar will last you for awhile. I use the Cleansing Balm to remove my face makeup prior to using my primary cleanser. I also use it as an overnight moisturizing mask in place of my night cream about once a week or so. The cleansing balm has Vitamin C in it, so it’s good for brightening skin tone and minimizing dark spots too. Shop the Beautycounter Cleansing Balm here.

6. Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer

Dew Skin is my everyday face makeup. It has very sheer coverage, just enough to even out your skin tone some and give it a glow. In addition, it has SPF 20. Shop Beautycounter Dew Skin here. You can also see how Dew Skin looks on in the picture I included under the Color Intense Lipstick description.

7. Tint Skin Hydrating Foundation

If you desire a little bit more coverage, Beautycounter Tint Skin Hydrating Foundation is for you. Although Tint Skin provides more coverage than Dew Skin, it’s still very lightweight and natural looking. Note that if you are going for a full coverage look, then this probably isn’t the best foundation for you. It’s considered light to medium coverage. While it’s buildable if you want additional coverage, it’s not going to blur every single imperfection or give you an airbrushed look. Tint Skin is the perfect foundation for me though, since I don’t like super heavy makeup. Some days I layer it on top of my Dew Skin. Note that Tint Skin doesn’t have SPF. Shop Beautycounter Tint Skin Foundation here. You can see how Tint Skin look on me in the picture I included under the Sheer Lipstick section of this post.

8. Citrus Mimosa Body Wash

Beautycounter Citrus Mimosa Body Wash is absolutely fabulous. I just finished up the bottle I bought back in April, so although it’s pricier than a drugstore body wash, it does last for at least a few months. The Citrus Mimosa body wash lathers well and smells absolutely amazing. But the best part is the lovely citrus smell doesn’t contain any artificial fragrance. FYI-companies aren’t required to disclose fragrance ingredients because it’s considered a trade secret. Thus, artificial fragrances can potentially contain some pretty questionable ingredients. Shop the Beautycounter Citrus Mimosa Body Wash here.

9. Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream

The Beautycounter Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream targets dark undereye circles and puffiness. I’m currently alternating the Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream with Beautycounter’s newest eye cream that isn’t included in the sale. However, I used the Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream exclusively for about two months, and was pleased with its performance. Shop Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream here.

10. Satin Powder Blush

Beautycounter Satin Powder Blush is the first non-drugstore brand blush I’ve used, and I can definitely tell a difference! It’s highly pigmented, so a little bit goes a long way. I’ve been using the same blush compact at least a few times a week for nearly three months now, and it looks like I’ve hardly made a dent in it. PS. How cute is this compact? I love how mine says “No Secrets Added,” which is a nod to Beautycounter’s commitment to ingredient transparency. I have the Beautycounter Satin Powder Blush in Melon, and you can shop all shades here. You can see how the Satin Power Blush looks on in both the pictures I included featuring lipstick colors earlier in this post.

The Band of Beauty welcome gift changes every month, but this month it is another one of my favorites, the Citrus Mimosa Body Lotion. Also, there’s no auto-ship with Band of Beauty.
