Hey y’all-hope you’ve had a good week! I actually have a few outfits I’ve worn this summer that I haven’t shared on the blog yet. Since summer is coming to a close, I’m planning to save most of them for next year. This is definitely an advantage of having a style that is more classic than trendy-the same types of clothing are relevant year after year. However, I do want to share one outfit I wore at the beach last month, featuring a hot pink gingham skirt by Lilly Pulitzer. Although I’ve had this skirt for six years, the bright pink gingham print is very similar to the current Lilly Pulitzer “Feelin’ Beachy” print. The Feelin’ Beachy print might potentially be in the upcoming Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale (more on that later), Therefore, I wanted to give y’all some styling inspiration with a similar print!

Lilly Pulitzer Mimosa Skirt
This particular Lilly Pulitzer skirt style is the Mimosa, and I just love the scallop detail at the hem. It pairs well with as simple white v-neck top. (My exact top is no longer available, but you can find a similar one here). You could actually transition this skirt into early fall by pairing it with a black or navy top. Bright pink is appropriate year-round in my opinion!
This Lilly Pulitzer Mimosa Skirt was perfect for a night out at the beach, but my favorite memory I’ve made in it was the first night of my girls’ Disney trip nearly four years ago! Does anyone else associate particular clothing items with fond memories?
Lilly Pulitzer’s current pink gingham “Feelin’ Beauty” print doesn’t come in a skirt, but it does come in some really cute pants, a romper, and a top! You can view all items in this print here. This would be something good to keep your eyes on for the upcoming Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale. Lilly hasn’t announced an exact date yet, but my guess is that it will happen the Monday after Labor Day. As soon as Lilly releases the dates, I promise to keep y’all in the loop!
A Few Closet Staples
I completed this look with some of my closet staples- gold Tory Burch Miller sandals, Kendra Scott Elle earrings, and a Kendra Scott Elaina bracelet. My orange pendant necklace is actually from a Kate Spade Surprise Sale awhile back, but they frequently have other fun and whimsical jewelry.
Hope y’all enjoyed this little glimpse of another one of my summer outfits. It’s hard to believe how quickly summer has flown by!
I know I haven’t been the best with keeping a consistent blogging schedule over the past several weeks. The truth is, I got a little burnt out earlier this summer. And even after I made the decision to scale back to two blog posts a week, I honestly still needed a bit of time to just decompress, live in the moment, and savor summer. Which means that I’ve only gotten one blog post up some weeks, and other weeks I’ve gotten two up, but they haven’t been on a regular Monday/Thursday schedule. Thanks so much for your patience with me, and for continuing to follow along. I’m hoping to really nail down my time management, work/life balance, and blogging routine this fall!
-xoxo Liz
