Although most of my skincare and makeup is Beautycounter, there’s still a handful of clean beauty products I get at Sephora. I made my first-ever Sephora purchase one year ago (April 2020), so I’m still a relatively new Sephora shopper. Even in this short amount of time, I’ve developed a list of go-to clean beauty products from Sephora. In addition, I enjoy trying new products from some of my favorite Clean at Sephora brands. Sephora has their VIB sale twice a year, and this is the best time to stock up on favorites. Since, there’s still time left to shop, I’m sharing some Sephora Sale must haves for Spring 2021.

Sephora Sale Spring 2021 Top Picks: Clean Beauty
In spring 2019 I switched to clean beauty products, so I stick with Clean at Sephora brands when I shop. To receive the Clean at Sephora seal, products must be free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and other harmful ingredients. (Read more about my decision to switch to safer beauty products here.) I’ve divided my Spring 2021 Sephora Sale Picks into three categories:
- Products I’ve bought before and plan to replenish now
- Products I’ve bought before and still regularly use
- New products I want to try
Sephora Sale Must-Haves: Replenish My Stash
In this section, I’m sharing the clean beauty products I currently use that I’m planning to replenish during the Spring 2021 Sephora Sale. These are products that I’m currently running low on, or products that I know I will run out of before Sephora has another sale in the fall.
Drunk Elephant Marula Tangle Spray: I spray this on my hair after I wash it, before I comb and blow dry. It helps me comb through my hair more smoothly, and provides some heat protection for blow-drying. In addition, I will use it then I get the random knot I need to detangle. The Drunk Elephant Marula Tangle Spray also doesn’t make my fine hair look greasy or weighed down.
ILIA Limitless Lash Mascara Mini Size: This is my favorite clean mascara, and I love that Sephora makes it in a convenient mini size. I prefer to swap out my mascara every three months or so, even if it’s not empty yet. The mini size is more economical and wastes less product. I just opened a new mini ILIA Limitless Lash Mascara, so I’m buying a back-up since I will need to replenish again before the fall sale.
Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum: All skin types need proper hydration, even skin on the oilier side. When I first tried Drunk Elephant B-Hydra as part of The Littles kit last year, I wasn’t so sure about it. But then when I quit using for awhile, I realized that I missed the way it made my skin look. The difference was subtle, but I still noticed it. So, I bought the full size last summer, and need to replenish it!
Travel Sizes
A couple of clean beauty products from Sephora that I love are now available in travel sizes, and I plan to purchase these in the Sephora VIB Sale. Since these are products I’ve tried before, I’m including as a sub-category of this section.
Goop G.Tox Scalp Scrub Shampoo: I use this deep clean scalp scrub shampoo with Himalayan salt once a week. It lathers really well, and my hair and scalp feel extra clean after using it. I’m really glad it comes in a travel size, and plan to get it for the convenience and ease. Since you scoop the product out of the container with your fingers, it will be really easy to continually refill the travel size container.
Drunk Elephant Beste No.9 Jelly Cleanser: My usual daily cleansers are both Beautycounter, but I tried a mini of the Drunk Elephant jelly cleanser in The Littles kit last year and really liked it. My Beautycounter cleansers don’t come in travel sizes, so I’ve liked having the Drunk Elephant mini cleansers from various kits on hand for that purpose. Drunk Elephant just released a new 2 oz mini size of their jelly cleanser, so I plan to buy one to use whenever I run out of the minis I’ve gotten in kits.
Sephora Sale Picks: Other Clean Beauty Products I Regularly Use
Here’s a couple products from Sephora that I use regularly, but I’m not buying during this sale because I won’t need to replenish anytime soon.
Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream: After trying the mini Drunk Elephant Protini moisturizer in The Littles last year, I bought the full-size and use it as my nighttime moisturizer. Since I still have an un-opened full-size Protini I got in a Drunk Elephant holiday kit, I don’t need to replenish at this time. You can also buy a mini Drunk Elephant Protini by itself.
Drunk Elephant Babyfacial: This super-charged AHA/BHA chemical exfoliating mask is a weekly deep clean treatment for your skin. Although it’s pricy, it lasts a long time, and the Sephora sale lets you save a few dollars. I just finished the Babyfacial that I opened almost 11 months ago, and I have another full-sized bottle on hand that I got in a Drunk Elephant holiday kit. Since the Drunk Elephant Babyfacial lasts so long, I won’t need to replenish it before the fall sale. You can also try the mini size of this product as well.
New Product I Want to Try from the Sephora Sale
Here’s a new product I’ve had my eye on, and I’m going to take advantage of the Sephora Spring Sale to finally try it:
ILIA Hydrating Lip Mask: I’ve wanted to try this ILIA Beauty Hydrating Lip Mask ever since it came out around New Year’s, but made myself hold off until the Sephora Spring Sale.
Sephora Spring Sale: Happy Shopping!
