Hey y’all- hope your first week back at work/school after Thanksgiving is going well. It’s always a bit hard getting back into the swing of things. Also, hope y’all got some Christmas shopping knocked out, and got some things on your personal wish list during the Cyber Week sales. Now that I’m through covering all the Black Friday-Cyber Monday sale madness, I thought it would be fun to get into the Christmas spirit by sharing my Christmas music playlist!
I honestly love a variety of Christmas music-Motown, pop, classical, country, and more. I enjoy both traditional Christmas carols, original modern Christmas songs, and classic Christmas carols with a modern twist. Confession-I discovered a couple songs in this playlist while watching Hallmark movies. I really liked the song playing in the background of the movie. So I asked Siri what song it was, and she filled me in. I’m also not ashamed to include some kiddie faves on this list, including “The Chipmunk Song”, and Mickey Mouse & his pals singing “Jingle Bells” and “Deck the Halls.”
This playlist is definitely not exhaustive with respect to Christmas music I love. But when I think about my favorite Christmas tunes, the songs in this playlist come to mind first. Since I don’t start listening to Christmas music until the day after Thanksgiving, I’ve been enjoying re-visiting my tried and true favorites.
I’ve grouped them into categories. You can click on any song to listen on Spotify. At the bottom, there is a Spotify widget where you can view the whole playlist and listen to a preview of each song too
