What I’m Loving Lately (March 2018)

Periodically, I will pop in and share a handful of miscellaneous things that I have been loving lately. Aside from the the obvious March Madness basketball, here are a few great things that I have discovered, bought, or enjoyed recently:

Disney x Cath Kidston Mickey & Minnie Pouches

What I'm Loving Lately

I have never been to the United Kingdom before, but a couple of my friends who have traveled there have brought me Cath Kidston stuff. One of my friends said that she thought I would like it because it’s “the Lilly Pulitzer of England.” Similar to Lilly, Cath Kidston has a lot of fun printed items. While she has some clothing, accessories and home goods appear to be more of her focus. Awhile back, I saw some of the Disney pages advertise a Disney x Cath Kidston collection on social media.  I didn’t jump to order anything, because I didn’t want to pay international shipping charges.

However, I recently had the opportunity to shop from the Cath Kidston website without having to pay for shipping across the pond. My friend informed me back in February that her British friend was coming to visit, and could be our personal shopper for Cath Kidston. I knew that I wanted to get something from the Disney x Cath Kidston line. There were so many adorable things available, but I settled on this set of Mickey & Minnie zip pouches. They are actually currently on sale for $6.40 USD, which somewhat compensates for international shipping charges if you’re in the US.

I got these in my hands a couple weeks ago when my personal shopper came to the US to visit my friend and they are just as precious in person as online. The two different sizes provides versatility, and I really like how there is a keyring you can attach them to. It’s fun to have a touch of Disney to help keep things organized inside my purse!

Kate Spade Make Lemonade Pot Holder

Kate Spade Lemon Potholder

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw the picture I posted recently of this fun Kate Spade potholder. As I’ve mentioned before, I love anything with a fruit motif. My eyes were drawn to this bright lemon print in Bed, Bath, & Beyond, and I knew I had to add it to my kitchen. It was very affordable to begin with, and I was able to use a 20% off coupon as well! This potholder is especially perfect to brighten up my kitchen this spring! Click here to order from Bed, Bath, & Beyond.

Blaze Pizza

Blaze Pizza
A Blaze Pizza recently opened up super close to me. The day it opened, they were giving away one free pizza per customer. One of my friends and I tried to go, but the line was out the door. It was after 8:00 and we were starving, so decided to go elsewhere. Fast forward to Pi Day, March 14, and Blaze Pizza was advertising pizzas for $3.14 a piece (they are normally around $8). I had heard so many good things about Blaze, so decided I was going to try it out on Pi Day regardless of the wait. When I got there the line was out the door, but it was much earlier in the evening so I waited. And it was so worth it.

For those of y’all who have never been to a Blaze, it is like Subway for pizza. You tell them what sauce, cheese, and toppings you want as they assemble it. Then they put it in a fast-fired oven and it’s ready in just a few minutes. They also have a sweet mobile app you can download to earn rewards. As soon as I downloaded it there was already a reward for a free soft drink loaded, which I redeemed with my $3.14 pizza!

Easter Candy

Easter Candy Easter Candy

Easter Candy is my absolute favorite! I love the pretty pastel colors, and I stock up every year so I can enjoy it long after Easter has passed. For some reason, I feel like seasonal candy tastes better than regular candy. After Easter, there is no more seasonal candy until Halloween. The pastel colors suit for all spring and summer, so I don’t feel silly eating Easter candy long after the holiday has passed.

PS. The precious pottery bowl holing the assorted candy in the first picture was a birthday gift from a dear friend last year.

Lilly Pulitzer Pink Seersucker Chain Clutch

My local Clothes Mentor recently had a big Lilly Pulitzer release event and I had to go check it out. These days, I am much more selective about what Lilly I buy, because I have so much in my closet already. I try to refrain from buying something simply because it’s on sale and a good deal. I want to make sure it’s either a print I really love or an item that will fulfill a specific purpose. All of the prints they had available that I really liked were not my size. However, I couldn’t resist grabbing this cute pink seersucker Lilly clutch for only $10. The chain strap is removable, and this will be great to have for nights out this spring and summer when I don’t want to carry a huge purse.

What are some things that y’all are currently loving? Any fun purchases or discoveries you’ve made this month? I’d love to hear below!
