Outfit Inspiration: Pink Lemonade & Summer Nights

Happy Memorial Day Weekend y’all! Hope all y’all are doing something super fun to ring in the unofficial start of summer. I’m at the beach for the first time in almost nine months, and have already enjoyed a delicious dinner at one of my favorite restaurants here. Forecast for Saturday and Sunday is looking great for some quality time on the beach. Anyways, in honor of the unofficial start to summer, I want to share another favorite casual summer outfit with y’all. If you read this post a couple weeks ago, then you already know I’m a huge fan of printed Lilly shorts for summer nights out. Since my Lilly Pulitzer Pink Lemonade print Callahan shorts in pool blue are an all time favorite, I thought I would show y’all how I styled them.

Lilly Pulitzer Pink Lemonade Callahans

I was fortunate to snag these Lilly Pulitzer Pink Lemonade shorts on super sale at Palm Avenue in Charleston back in fall 2016. They were perfect for dinner out at the beach last summer, and they will be making many repeat appearances this summer!

Outfit Details

Shorts: Lilly Pulitzer  //  Top: Gap Factory (similar from Gap)  //  Shoes: Tory Burch  //
Necklace: Lilly Pulitzer (similar)  //  Watch: Kate Spade (similar)  //  Earrings: Sheila Fajl
Bow: Lauren James (I so wish this was still available)

Now for a few notes on the outfit details above. As I mentioned earlier, my Lilly shorts are from 2016. But these Home Slice print shorts are some of my favorite Lilly shorts currently available. If you like Lilly prints with a fruit motif, you will love these. (For more on my love for the Lilly Home Slice print, check out this post.) My Lilly Shell Yeah necklace is from the Summer 2012 collection. It actually has a bottle opener on the back, but I never use it because I worry I will mess it up. This similar Lilly necklace has a seashell and tassels. And the Kate Spade watch I linked is actually included in the big Nordstrom sale happening right now!

I hope y’all enjoyed this post and that it gave y’all some styling inspiration for casual summer evening outfits. One of the things I love most about my Lilly is that it is classic and I can re-wear my favorite prints season after season. The prints are so bright and happy. As Lilly herself said, “being happy never goes out of style.”

Let me know in the comments what you’re up to this Memorial Day weekend! Also, what are your favorite Lilly Pulitzer printed shorts?
