Happy Friday y’all! It’s hard to believe we are only two weeks away from Labor Day weekend. Where has the summer gone?! Anyways, today I want to let y’all know that Lauren James, one of my favorite preppy lifestyle brands, has some great deals in the sale section of their website. A lot of these items are for spring/summer, but some of them can transition into fall. So to help y’all out, I’ve rounded up my favorite items from the Lauren James sale.

The Brooke Dress

This darling gingham dress with pockets is one of my favorite recent purchases from Lauren James. Although the light blue color I’m wearing is no longer available, you can currently buy it in red gingham and navy gingham here for 50% off retail, making it less than $35! One reason I love the Brooke dress so much is it’s versatility. You can create different looks by mixing and matching different necklaces and earrings. Check out this post for some examples of different looks I created with this one dress.
Also, this dress could definitely transition into fall with a cardigan and cowgirl boots!
The Emmie Tank

I have gotten tons of compliments on this light and flowy citrus print tank whenever I have featured it on Instagram. The Emmie tank comes in four different prints, but “Main Squeeze” is my favorite because I love anything with a fruit motif. (I know this sounds like a broken record to those of y’all who have been following my blog for awhile, but I had to fill new readers in on my affinity for fruity prints). Good news-this tank is currently on sale for less than $30, so go grab it in your favorite print here. The Reagan Ruffle Top
This one-shoulder red gingham ruffle top from Lauren James was perfect for the 4th of July this year. It comes in navy gingham as well. If you go buy a Reagan top now, you will be all set for Memorial Day and/or the 4th of July for next year. In addition, you could even transition this top into early fall by wearing it with jeans. (Just no white jeans after Labor Day please!) Add this darling top to your closet here.
The Harper Seersucker Dress

If you’ve been following my blog for awhile, then you know my obsession with the Lauren James Harper Dress is no secret. The simple silhouette and neckline lend themselves to extreme versatility. Check out all the looks I created with this one dress here. The Harper Dress is available in both solid seersucker and classic striped seersucker.
The Scalloped Seersucker Skirt
This precious scalloped seersucker skirt is another one of my favorite Lauren James items. I can wear it to work or for girls’ night out at the beach. It’s still available on sale in a few colors and sizes here. In addition to the mint green pictured here, I also have this skirt in orange. I wore it to a Clemson baseball game once and it was perfect for a photo opp with the Tiger Cub.
The American Flag Beachcomber
This adorable seersucker American Flag oversized long-sleeved shirt makes the perfect cover-up on windy days at the beach, especially during the 4th of July week. You can get one for yourself here. The beachcomber is also on sale in pink and light blue, and you can check out those colors here.
The Tailgate Dress
I ordered this dress in pink and in gray during a Lauren James sale earlier this summer. It fits really well and is the perfect dress to wear now and on into fall. I am a stickler to the no white jeans, no seersucker, and no summery prints after Labor Day rule. Some may call me old-fashioned for this, but it’s how I am and I have no intention of changing. However, temperatures often remain in the 80s well into September in the South, so figuring out what to wear during these transitional weeks is often a struggle. The tailgate dress will be perfect for those warm September days. And even when it gets colder, I plan to layer the tailgate dress with a cardigan and tights or leggings. The best part is it’s under $20 and comes in multiple colors, which you can see here.
The Ali Slub Dress and Ali Slub Top
The Ali Slub Dress and Ali Slub Top basically look the same from the waist up. Each comes in four different colors. The Ali Slub Dress is also a great option to wear on those warm September days. Furthermore the gold buttons and pleating at the neckline, as well as additional coverage in the back make the Ali Dress a bit dressier than the Tailgate Dress. The Ali Top pairs beautifully with shorts now, and then jeans and a jacket/cardigan when temperatures drop. I bought the Ali Dress in navy and raspberry and the Ali Top in navy and coral during an earlier Lauren James sale and absolutely love the way they fit. Printed Umbrella & Flip Flops
Lastly, Lauren James also has their adorable printed umbrellas and flip flops on sale. I grabbed both the umbrella and flip flops in the “Main Squeeze” print during the Lauren James Sale on Sale promo a couple weeks ago. The fun umbrella will definitely brighten up rainy days, and I’m looking forward to wearing the flip flops on my upcoming end of summer beach trips.
