Happy Wednesday y’all! If you follow me on Instagram, then you know I have been hinting at some fun fall content coming up on the blog. Well, today I’m excited to share some of that with y’all. Last week I checked one item off my Fall Bucket List-enjoying a Krispy Kreme pumpkin spice donut. Emily Gardiner Photo came along for the excursion. It’s always a bonus when one of your blog photographers doubles as a good friend. Read on for some pictures of our fun and delicious time together.

Confession Time
So first of all, I need to be honest and admit that I typically go to Dunkin Donuts over Krispy Kreme. I love Dunkin’s Munckin donut holes, and I also prefer Dunkin’s coffee. My tendency to choose Dunkin’ over Krispy Kreme might be one of the only non-Southern things about me. However, there’s just something about a Krispy Kreme pumpkin spice donut that can’t be beat. Plus, it’s a caked donut, which I prefer to a glazed yeast donut. Krispy Kreme may be known for their gooey hot & now classic glazed donuts, but I still prefer the caked variety. Also, I just love the retro vibes of the atmosphere inside Krispy Kreme.
That Hot & Now Feeling
So the Hot & Now sign came on as soon as we arrived at Krispy Kreme. Although I prefer caked donuts to the hot & now glazed variety, I still couldn’t help but get excited to see this sign light up. It’s like they knew we were coming!
Krispy Kreme Pumpkin Spice Donut=YUM
Can you tell I’m just a little bit excited to dig into this deliciousness? Of course a heart for the Lord is the most important quality in a potential husband, but I’m also praying for someone who looks at me the way I’m looking at this Krispy Kreme pumpkin spice donut.
How fun are these Krispy Kreme hats? I feel like you can’t do a photoshoot at Krispy Kreme without putting one on!
Coffee Time
I also had to get some decaf coffee to go along with my pumpkin spice donut. However, I don’t think Krispy Kreme is too used to customers ordering decaf with their donut in the evenings. You can’t get decaf lattes at Krispy Kreme. But they kindly made a pot of decaf coffee when I ordered it. In other news, the marks on my forehead are from when I got bit by a mosquito when we shot some pictures outside earlier in the evening. I’m definitely ready for the mosquitos to go away!
Outfit Details
Of course I can’t help but share some outfit details with y’all! A long-sleeved white top, Lilly Pulitzer scarf, and skinny jeans are perfect for a fall evening enjoying a donut and coffee. This Lilly scarf is in the South Carolina print, and it’s another one of my favorites since I went to school and used to live in SC. (Check out this post to see how I styled my Florida print and North Carolina print Lilly scarves.)

Earrings: Sheila Fajl // Bracelet: Kate Spade (similar)
Hope y’all enjoyed this post! If you’re anywhere near a Krispy Kreme, run and get yourself a pumpkin spice caked donut. Somehow this was the first time in a few years that I’d had one. But after remembering how delicious they are, I am going to have to make sure every fall includes at least one Krispy Kreme pumpkin spice donut. Another shoutout to Emily Gardiner Photo for these fun pics.
PS. Thinking and prayer for everyone in the path of Hurricane Michael, especially the Florida panhandle.
