Hey y’all-I realize June isn’t officially over yet, but I already have some other content planned for next week. So, I want to go ahead and share what I’ve been loving this past month. Here’s some of my June 2020 Favorites!

Drunk Elephant Robe
Shortly after I started getting into Drunk Elephant’s clean beauty products, I saw a handful of bloggers on Drunk Elephant’s PR list wearing this When Drunk Elephant released this colorful robe in Instagram photos. So when Drunk Elephant made it available for purchase in their “Drunk Life” section, I jumped at the chance to buy it. I actually didn’t have a robe prior to this, so it made great addition. The Drunk Elephant robe is actually made from eight recycled plastic bottles, so love that it’s cute and environmentally friendly! This robe gives me Lilly Pulitzer vibes, but it’s much less expensive than a Lilly robe! In addition Since the Drunk Elephant robe is one-size-fits-most, it would make a great gift too. Perfect for anyone wanting to treat themselves to a home spa day!
Disney Sleep Shirts
For the longest time I would haphazardly throw on a random t-shirt and pajama pants/shorts to sleep in. I didn’t really give much thought about whether they matched, because nobody really sees you when you’re in your PJs, especially if you’re single haha! However, I’ve recently started to get more into cute and coordinated pajamas. So if I’m not wearing one of my Lilly pajama sets or my Draper James nightgown, I try to be more intentional about wearing comfy t-shirt that match whatever pajama bottoms I’m wearing. shopDisney had a sale on clothing this past month, so I bought a few new t-shirts that coordinate with my favorite pajama bottoms. I got the Walt Disney Studios tee pictured below, and its especially soft and comfy. In addition, I got this cute Winnie the Pooh graphic tee, and this peach Walt Disney World tee.
Gap Body
My mom had a bunch of Gap Rewards in her account that she let me use, and I combined them with a sale so I got more bang for my buck. I bought this racerback workout tank in two colors, and wore one of them for the first time on a run this past weekend. Will have to take a picture of myself wearing it soon. I fluctuate between two sizes in tops depending on how they run. Since I don’t like my workout tops super form fitting, I went with the larger of the two sizes I typically wear, and I’m happy about with the fit. This might be TMI, but I also got this lace plunge bralette, which is a new-to-me style, in three colors. I used to shop Victoria’s Secret for bras and panties, but have switched over to Gap, because they have sales more often and I honestly think quality is better. Also, I don’t like how Victoria’s Secret perpetuates a negative body image.
Drunk Elephant Head to Toe Littles
I was super excited that Drunk Elephant released their Head to Toe Littles this month! Although I had already tried most of the full sized hair and body products, I was super excited to score these travel sizes. The best part is that unlike Drunk Elephant’s skincare Littles, their Hair & Body Littles are refillable. The only product in this set I probably wouldn’t buy in the full size is the Scalp Scrub. Although it smells good, I can’t really tell if it does much. The Marula Tangle Spray is the only other product in this travel set I hadn’t already tried in the full-sized. I like it, and will most likely purchase the full-sized once I use up more of my current detangler.
I also have to point out that the Drunk Elephant Sweet Pitti Cream is the best aluminum-free natural deodorant I’ve tried so far. Natural deodorant isn’t supposed to completely stop sweating, which is actually a good thing because sweating rids your body of toxins. However, the Drunk Elephant deodorant controls underarm odor better than any of the other natural deodorants I’ve tried. The mini deodorant in the Hair & Body Littles is a great way to try it out to see if it works for you.
Finally, I love that the Hair & Body Littles come in a bright & happy neon yellow travel bag. Plus how cute is this fun Drunk Elephant branded comb?! This set is limited edition, so purchase ASAP if you’re interested!
Beach Trips
Since I didn’t make it to the beach Memorial Day Weekend, I was happy to make two weekend trips to the beach in June. One weekend I went with both my parents, and the other with my dad. It was really nice to get a change of scenery and spend time with my parents. I’m so thankful my family has a beach place that we can safely travel to even during this crazy COVID summer. When I go to the beach with my family, we typically eat-in or get takeout and hang out the house in the evening. So coronavirus doesn’t alter our beach trips too much! There was a good number of people on the beach both weekends, but it was easy to social distance from other groups. During these weekend trips I also enjoyed morning lattes, plus take-out from one of my favorite restaurants.
A lot has changed since last summer. But sitting on the beach reading a good book and watching the familiar motion of the waves reminded me how “Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)
Newest Karen Kingsbury Book
Karen Kingsbury, my favorite author, released a new book in early May. However, I didn’t read it until June, because I wanted to save for my first beach trip of the summer. I thoroughly enjoyed Someone Like You, and highly recommend it, along with any of Karen Kingsbury’s books!
Mickey Mouse Ice Cream
Edy’s released a limited edition Mickey Mouse ice cream! It’s vanilla with fudge swirl and chocolate Mickey-shaped pieces. One of my Insta friends, @preppy.in.disney, recently shared she had found this ice cream. So yesterday when placed my Shipt order, I texted a picture of the ice cream to my shopper asking her to pick it up if Target had it in stock. Sure enough, they did! I’ve already sampled it, and plan to have a bowl later tonight. Bonus-it’s reduced fat but still delicious!
National Wear Your Lilly Day 2020
One highlight of every June is National Wear Your Lilly Day, which falls on the Summer Solstice. Due to the circumstances of this social distancing summer, I stayed in while and relaxed at home while wearing a Lilly Pulitzer Luxletic Skort. Since I wasn’t out doing anything, I didn’t take enough pictures of my National Wear Your Lilly Day outfit to justify a separate blog post. But I still want to share a snap of my ensemble here. I styled my skort with my Drunk Elephant graphic tee and dainty jewelry.
Speaking of Lilly Pulitzer, they are having their first-ever Dressed for Summer Sale. There’s still time to shop if you haven’t already. The sale ends at 11:59pm EST on Tuesday, June 30. The style skort I’m wearing in this pic is still available for over 50% off in a few sizes in a different print. I actually didn’t buy any sale items today. While there are some great items in the sale, Lilly didn’t have what I was specifically looking for! But Lilly did restock their fabric masks this morning, and I grabbed a couple! If you missed out on the Lilly masks during the first go-round like I did, you can get one here. They’re still in stock at time of publishing this post.

PS. I highly recommend watching the movie Just Mercy. It’s a moving film based on a true story and it’s actually free to stream on all major platforms through the end of the June. So make plans to watch tonight or tomorrow!
