How to Style One Dress Three Ways

Hey y’all-happy Friday! A few weeks ago I shared how I styled my Lauren James gingham dress, one of my new favorites. Today I’m featuring that same dress, but I’m mixing up accessories to create three different looks. For the longest time I basically only wore pearls. Although I still love to wear pearls, I am glad I have branched out a bit in the jewelry department. It’s really fun to swap out necklaces and earrings and be able to wear the same dress without repeating the exact same outfit. However, I definitely have nothing against outfit repeating either! If I love something, I will continue to wear it year after year! Keep on reading to see how I style one dress multiple ways!

Here’s a look at the dress! (It’s actually currently on sale in red gingham and navy gingham- check its out here.)

Look One: Kate Spade Strawberry Pendant

I bought this Kate Spade strawberry pendant during the friends & family sale a few months ago. It screams “summer picnic” when paired with blue gingham. Unfortunately, the strawberry necklace is sold-out, but Kate Spade has a fun pineapple mini pendant available right now. The good news is this pineapple necklace will go with anything!

For earrings, I wore my Kendra Scott ivory mother of pearl Ellie studs as part of this look. I bought these earrings last month, but have worn them too many times to count. They are definitely a staple in my jewelry collection now, and literally match everything.

Look Two: Kate Spade Watermelon Pendant

To create the second look with my Lauren James Brooke Dress, I simply swapped the short strawberry mini pendant necklace for a long watermelon pendant necklace. This watermelon necklace is also by Kate Spade. I snagged it during one of their surprise sales a couple years ago, so this exact necklace is no longer available for purchase. However, I did find a watermelon pendant necklace by Sphera Milano, available at Neiman Marcus Last Call. Click here for details! The watermelon necklace paired with gingham also gives off summer picnic vibes, but in a slightly different way. Since the necklace is longer and pendant larger, it makes more of a statement.

Look Three: Kate Spade Minnie Mouse Pendant Necklace

Last but not least, I changed into my Kate Spade Minnie Mouse pendant to create the third look with this darling gingham dress. Kate Spade and Disney are two of my favorite things, so I was extremely excited when Kate Spade released their Minnie Mouse collection last year. Although cute, the handbags wouldn’t be practical enough for me to justify the price. But this necklace is the perfect way to add a subtle touch of Disney into your everyday wardrobe, even hundreds of miles away from the Disney Parks!

Kendra Scott Elle Earrings

In addition, I swapped out my Kendra Scott studs for my Kendra Scott ivory mother of pearl Elle drop earrings. My Kendra Scott Elle earrings are also a recent purchase that I absolutely love and wear all the time. It has been fun to break out of the box and start wearing dangly earrings. Previously, with the exception of my Sheila Fajl hoops, I only wore stud earrings.
