Cooking Up Southern Hospitality with DaySpring & Candace Cameron Bure

Hope y’all had a great weekend and that your Monday wasn’t too rough! Last week I shared my recent collaboration with DaySpring to promote their new Candace Cameron Bure “Live Your Faith” Tees. When DaySpring sent me my “Stay Salty” t-shirt for this collaboration, they surprised me with an additional goodie from their Candace Cameron Bure line.

Also, I received this apron complementary from DaySpring. However, all opinions are my own, and I only accept collaborations that I genuinely believe are a good fit for Palmettos & Pineapples, and that I feel my readers will enjoy.)

The Most Darling Apron

This precious ruffle bib apron has pineapples all over it, so basically it’s perfect for me. I also love the navy & coral color combination. And how adorable is the little pocket on the front? I tied the apron in the back, but the model on the DaySpring website has it tied in the font, which also looks cute. You can shop the DaySpring Candace Cameron Bure “Pineapple of My Eye” apron here.

Cooking Up Southern Hospitality

So I obviously love pineapples enough to incorporate them into my blog name. Pineapples symbolize Southern hospitality. Since my blog focuses on Southern lifestyle, I decided “Pineapples” was absolutely perfect to comprise half my blog’s name. You can read more here about how my blog got it’s name! Next to my identity in Christ, being Southern is the second biggest part of who I am. I’ve lived in the South my whole life and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. The culture of friendly people and Southern hospitality is a major reason why! I also enjoy hosting people, and people have told me that hospitality is my spiritual gift. I’m definitely looking forward to wearing my “Pineapple of My Eye” apron while I cook up Southern hospitality for future gatherings. I will be making my Famous Pretzels (recipe here) Easter style soon, and will definitely wear this apron while making those as well.

If you’re from the South, what’s your favorite thing about being Southern? And if you’ve relocated to the South from a different part of the US, what do you love most about living in the South now? And if you’ve never had the pleasure of living in the South, what have you enjoyed most about visiting the South?

I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to collaborate with DaySpring to share their newest Candace Cameron Bure line with y’all! Candace Cameron Bure is one of my all-time favorite actresses. I’ve been a Full House fan since watching it way back when it was a current series during my childhood. However, the most admirable thing about Candace is how she lives out her faith and shines brightly for Jesus in Hollywood. You can read more about why I love Candace Cameron Bure in my previous post.
