Hope y’all had a great weekend! If you get today off, hope you’re enjoying, and if you have to work today, hope the Monday blues don’t have you down. As I mentioned in my intro post, I am shamelessly obsessed with getting photos with characters and mascots. So I will periodically be sharing some of these in a “Mascot Monday” column. (Can you tell I am a fan of alliteration)?! I will include my outfit details as a bonus in some of these posts. Today I am featuring my most recent mascot picture: Sir Purr of the Carolina Panthers! He came and visited a Walmart in my area recently. I avoid going to Walmart as much as possible (I’m more of a Target girl), but a Sir Purr meet & greet is definitely motivation for me to break out of the box and go! I am honestly not a big fan of the NFL (which is probably good for my health since I am such an intense college football fan), but I am absolutely obsessed with Sir Purr. He is soooo cute, and I love his name.
Isn’t he adorable?! Also, his paw pads squeak.
Outfit Details
Top: I am wearing the Linden Sherpa pullover by Lauren James. This is seriously the coziest and comfiest pullover. I have two additional colors besides this one in my closet, and the Linden Sherpa has been my go-to for casual wear this winter. It’s actually on sale right now, and for a limited time you can get an additional 40% off with code “BEMINE40.”
Scarf: Lilly Pulitzer Murfee Scarf in the Florida print. I’m a Carolina girl, but Florida is one of my favorite states to visit (hello Disney World!). The Florida print is no longer available online, but you can browse similar scarves here.
Earrings: Sheila Fajl “Everyone’s Favorite Hoops” in gold. I order mine from a Greenville, SC-based online jewelry boutique, Lydia Lister Jewelry. It’s always nice to support local businesses with a personal connection.
Boots: Ariat Heritage Western R Toe boot. I have had these boots for over six years now and they have held up so well. I get compliments on them all the time. Totally worth the price!
Finally, how cute is it that Sir Purr travels around in a “Cat Cruiser?!”
