Hey y’all! I’m Liz! I’m a young professional living in North Carolina. I’ve got strong ties to the great state of South Carolina as well, hence the “Palmettos” portion of this blog title. I spent my college years, plus my first few years of “adulting” in the Palmetto State, so it has played a significant role in shaping who I am today and holds a special place in my heart. I love the sight of the palmetto tree & crescent moon, and Clemson Orange tiger paws! (The color garnet and Gamecocks…not so much!)

I’ve lived in the South my entire life, and honestly couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. The “Pineapples” portion of this blog title is a nod to my love of Southern culture. The pineapple is a symbol of Southern hospitality, and one of my favorite things about the South is how warm and friendly people are. Also, the pineapple fountain is one of my favorite spots in Charleston, SC, which is the epitome of a Southern city.

I love Jesus and my faith in Christ shapes everything else in my life. My other interests and passions include: college sports (particularly all things Clemson and UNC), Disney, fashion (classic prep is my style of choice), snagging as many photo opps with characters and mascots as I can, theme parks and roller coasters, spending time by the pool or at the beach, reading a good book, ice cream and fro yo, coffee, quality time with my favorite people, traveling to my favorite places (Disney World, Clemson, and the beach) and discovering new places, eating disorders awareness and prevention, eliminating the stigma of mental health issues, and so much more.

Palmettos & Pineapples is a space where I can channel my creative energy and share my passions with a touch of Southern hospitality. Here you will find outfit inspiration and styling tips, travel and vacay inspiration, recommendations of brands and products I love, and various musings on topics that are near & dear to my heart. There is honestly a little bit of everything on here! To get to know me even better via a few fun facts, click here.

I’m humbled and honored you stopped by my cozy little nook on the internet. I love getting to connect with my readers, so comments make my day.
