Hey y’all-hope you had a good week. I’m back with a bonus post all about the 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! In case you aren’t aware, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (aka N-Sale) happens each summer. It typically occurs in the second half of July, but due to coronavirus they postponed the 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to August. The N-Sale is different from traditional sales. Rather than marking down inventory at the end of the season to clear room for next season’s inventory, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale marks down fall/winter items for a few weeks when they first hit the racks/shelves. Then after the sale, the items go back up to full price. When you shop the N-Sale online, you will see the sale price, and then the designated “After Sale” price. This year Nordstrom is actually allowing shoppers to preview the entire sale inventory online prior to the sale. So, I’ve looked through the selection and want to round up my 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Top Picks.
Although you can view the 2020 N-Sale items online already, you won’t be able to purchase until your designated access date. However, you can go ahead and add to your wish list for easy purchase later. The date you’re able to shop the sale depends on whether you are a Nordstrom cardholder. All Nordstrom cardholders are able to shop the sale before the general public. But higher tier Nordstrom cardholders get even earlier access. I will share these specific dates in the next section.

2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Access Dates
One of the biggest perks of being a Nordstrom cardholder is that you can shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale before the general public. In addition, being a Nordstrom cardholder allows you to accumulate Nordy Club rewards points more quickly. Once you reach a certain amount of points, you get a Nordstrom Note, which is a basically a gift certificate. (You can learn more about the Nordy Club here). If you like to buy multiple brands available at Nordstrom, having a Nordstrom card can be beneficial if, and ONLY if, you pay off the balance each month. Paying late fees or interest negates any of the perks of having a Nordstrom Card, so please be a responsible spender if you decide to get one.

August 7-18: Ambassadors Early Access
August 10-18: Influencers Early Access
August 13-18: Insider Early Access
August 19-30: Open to everyone!

I know that some people who follow a ton of bloggers get tired of seeing them all share the same outfits from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. So, I want y’all to know that my coverage of the N-Sale is different. I simply focus on the N-Sale as an opportunity to get some of my favorite designer brands for less and authentically share my top finds from those specific brands. Tory Burch Carsen Leather Tote
Although my overall list of top Nordstrom Anniversary Sale picks is in no particular order, I had to mention the Tory Burch Carsen Leather Tote first. The Tory Burch Carson Convertible Leather Crossbody Bag is another great Tory Burch handbag option in the 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The chain strap is very elegant, and the tan color will go with everything and be appropriate year-round.

This Tory Burch Carson Stripe Leather Crossbody Bag is a bit smaller, and it would be great for being out and about when you only need to carry the essentials!
Tory Burch Circle Logo Stud Earrings
I have a different pair of Tory Burch logo studs that I wear all the time. If you’re a Tory Burch fan, I highly recommend getting some. The Circle Logo Stud Earrings will go with everything, and they’re under $50 in the sale!
Tory Burch Carson Zip Leather Continental Wallet
I love a classic Tory Burch wallet, and the Carson Zip Leather Continental Wallet is a great option to get one during the N-Sale.

My top two picks for Tory Burch sunglasses in the 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale are the 57mm Gradient Square Sunglasses, and the 50mm Polarized Gradient Small Square Sunglasses.
Kate Spade Mini Initial Pendant Necklace
This Kate Spade initial pendant necklace is a smaller version of the Kate Spade necklace I’ve had for almost two years and absolutely love. It’s only $24 during the 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and would make a great gift for anyone!
Kate Spade Florence Zip Around Leather Wallet
You can’t go wrong with a classic Kate Spade wallet, and the blush pink color of the Kate Spade Florence Zip Around Leather Wallet is so pretty.
Kate Spade Sunglasses
I have multiple pairs of Kate Spade sunglasses as well, and they are great. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a good opportunity to get some classic Kate Spade sunglasses too. My favorite choices from the sale are the Melanies 52mm Polarized Round Sunglasses, Annorps 54mm Gradient Square Sunglasses, and the Annor 54mm Polarized Sunglasses.
Kendra Scott Davis Drop Earrings
Kendra Scott is one of my go-tos for jewelry, and these simple drop earrings with a white stone are extremely versatile.
Kendra Scott Davis Friendship Bracelet
This adjustable Kendra Scott bracelet is similar to a Kendra Scott bracelet I own and can wear with almost anything. The adjustable chain is great if you have small wrists as well. Plus it’s under $30!
Hunter Boots
I paid full-price for my Hunter rain boots that I’ve had for over six years now. While they were worth every penny, it’s even better to be able to get them on sale! Designer Jeans
If you’re in the market for a pair of designer jeans, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a fabulous time to snag a pair. Designer jeans are extremely high quality and will last for years. And if you’re able to buy designer jeans on sale, you’ll get your money’s worth even more so! My top 2020 N-Sale designer jean picks are the 7 for All Mankind High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans and the Joe’s Jeans Charlie High Rise Skinny Jeans. I have a pair of 7 for All Mankind jeans I’ve owned for nearly seven years, and a pair of Joe’s Jeans I’ve had for almost eight years!
Leopard Print V-Neck Blouse
I saw this leopard print blouse when I was browsing on the main N-Sale page. Even though it’s a more trendy piece and not one of my go-to brands for less, I still had to include it. I love leopard print. Plus it would be a great transitional piece for early fall in the South. It’s common for temperatures to still be in the 80’s all through September, and even into October. Getting dressed can be a struggle during this period when it feels odd to still wear summery clothes, but it’s way too hot to pull out sweaters and scarves!
Moonlight Dream Short Pajamas
During this quarantine season I’ve really gotten into cute pajama sets. This classic navy pajama set is only $30 in the N-Sale. It comes in a few additional colors as well. If you’re looking to add some more pj sets to your sleepwear collection, this is a great buy!
Wubby Fleece Pullover
A cozy Sherpa pullover on a chilly fall or winter day is one of life’s great joys, in my humble opinion. This fuzzy gray Sherpa by Thread & Supply is under $50 in the 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The neutral gray color will go with any jeans, leggings, or lounge pants! Sherpas are great to wear to a bonfire or a football game.
Patagonia Pullovers
The 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale also features some classic Patagonia pullovers to add to your cozy wardrobe. My top Patagonia picks are the Los Gatos Fleece Pullover and Better Sweater Quarter Zip Performance Jacket.
