2019 Easter Dress Shopping Guide

Happy Wednesday y’all! It’s been more Sherpa than sundress weather in NC these past couple days. However, we got a taste of spring weather this past weekend, it’s supposed to warm up again soon, and Easter is only three and a half weeks away! The most important part about Easter is celebrating Jesus’ triumph over death and the eternal life He offers. But I must admit I’m also super excited about breaking out the seersucker and white jeans again. I’m an old-fashioned Southerner, and refuse to wear seersucker or white jeans before then. With Easter being so late this year, I will definitely transition into some of my spring clothes before then. But once Easter arrives, I’m free to wear anything in my spring/summer wardrobe. I’ve actually already decided what I’m wearing for Easter this year- my one clothing purchase from the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale. However, in case you’re still lookin for the perfect dress for Easter Sunday, I’m sharing my 2019 Easter Dress Shopping Guide. I’ve selected a handful of options from some of my favorite retailers. All of these dresses are under $200, and many are under $100. I’ve also thrown in a couple options that are under $50!

Lilly Pulitzer Easter Dresses

A classic Lilly Pulitzer dress is one of the first things that comes to mind when I think about Easter Dress options. In fact, I’ve worn Lilly Pulitzer on Easter Sunday 8 out of the past 9 years! Even if I don’t buy a new Lilly dress specifically for Easter, I often wear a favorite from my closet. You really can’t go wrong with wearing Lilly for Easter!

2019 Easter Dress Shopping Guide

The printed Lilly Pulitzer shift dress I’m wearing in the above picture by Amelia Cassar Photography is actually several years old. However, I’m loving quite a few printed shift dresses currently available from Lilly, especially this Gabby Shift. This Mila Shift is the same style as the Lilly dress I’m wearing for Easter this year, just in a different print. The lace neckline of this Nala Shift is absolutely gorgeous as well. If you’re looking to spend under $100 (minus tax), check out the Lilly Pulitzer Kristen Dress. I love the cute koala print it comes in.

Although Lilly Pulitzer is known for her printed dresses, she also has some great solid dress options such as this Tisbury Shift Dress. The Tisbury is pink with ruffles on the front, and looks very similar to this pink seersucker Lilly dress that I’ve had for years and actually worn for Easter Sunday two different times.

Lauren James Easter Dresses

The one recent year I didn’t wear Lilly Pulitzer for Easter, I wore Lauren James. Since Easter is the first day to wear seersucker (if you’re a rule stickler) like me, a Lauren James seersucker dress is perfect! And I have some good news for y’all- you can now save 15% off Lauren James by entering the code “PINEAPPLE15” at checkout!

Lauren James Seersucker Dress

This dress I wore in my first-ever shoot with Amelia Cassar Photography is one of the classic, timeless Lauren James seersucker dresses I own. I actually wore this same dress in a different color for Easter last year. Although this style is no longer available, I’m still loving Lauren James’ current seersucker dresses. The Livingston Dress and Arden Dress are both great seersucker options to consider in your 2019 Easter dress shopping.

In addition, Lauren James has a couple solid white dresses that would be perfect for Easter. The Olivia Dress and the Sloane Dress may be solid white, but they are definitely not boring. I love the cutout detail at the hem of both of these dresses.

Draper James Easter Dresses

Draper James, Reese Witherspoon’s lifestyle brand, has a couple dresses that I adore as Easter Dress options. This white lace A-line dress is absolutely beautiful if you’re looking to wear a little white dress for Easter (and would also be perfect to wear if you’re a bride-to-be too). You also can’t go wrong with this linen embroidered dress that features a gorgeous light blue color and some ruffle details.

More Seersucker Easter Dresses

I discovered a couple more options if you’re looking for a seersucker dress to wear for Easter this year. Vineyard Vines has this classic shift in color blocked seersucker. It’s a bit of a different take on your standard seersucker dress, but still super classic. Then if you’re on a budget, Crown & Ivy has this classic seersucker dress with ruffle detail for less than $70!

More Crown & Ivy Easter Dresses

In addition to the seersucker dress I mentioned above, Belk’s Crown & Ivy brand has several other great dresses worth browsing during your 2019 Easter dress shopping. Crown & Ivy is perfect for those who love classic preppy style, but don’t have the budget for full-priced Lilly Pulitzer and Vineyard Vines. In addition to being more affordable from the start, Belk frequently puts Crown & Ivy on sale! I’m especially liking the Sleeveless Kurta Dress, this short-sleeve gingham dress, this sleeveless printed shift dress, and this scallop hem shift dress.

Best Under $50 Options

Yellow steals the show in the best Easter dress options I found for under $50. I love this mustard polka number with ruffle details from Old Navy. Then J.Crew Factory has this sunny yellow eyelet shirtdress currently on sale, which brings the price down to under $50.

Hope y’all enjoyed this little round-up for my 2019 Easter Dress Shopping Guide. I tried to include a variety of brands and price ranges for y’all! Have you decided what you’re wearing for Easter yet? Let me know in the comments!

-xoxo Liz
