Hey y’all! Hope your weekend has been absolutely lovely. If you have been following me over on Instagram, then you may have already seen my Easter dress for this year. I wanted to be sure and share over here on the blog as well.
Since I have so many dresses and didn’t want to spend money on a new one, I went shopping in my closet. For the longest time I debated whether to wear Lilly Pulitzer or Lauren James. I ended up deciding on a Lauren James solid seersucker dress. This was the first time in years that I didn’t wear a Lilly dress on Easter. But I feel like Lauren James seersucker suits just as well for Easter. I also wanted to make sure I wore a dress that would complement my Lilly Pulitzer floppy hat. Easter is one of the few opportunities I have to wear this hat, so I wanted to take full advantage. I wore a printed Lilly Pulitzer bangle as well. Even though I didn’t wear a Lilly dress, my Easter outfit this year did not lack any Lilly.
This dress may look familiar to some of y’all who have been following my blog for at least the past month. That is because it is the exact same style Lauren James dress I wore in this post, but in a different color. I love the Lauren James Harper Dress so much I own it in four different solid seersucker colors. This color I wore for Easter is “seafoam.” It is actually the dress that started my obsession with the Harper in solid seersucker.
It was a bit chilly on Easter morning. Since I had to stand outside to greet at church between 8:00 and 9:00am, I opted for cowgirl boots instead of sandals. These boots are the Ariat Heritage Western R-Toe and they are seriously the best cowgirl boots! I have had this particular pair for over four years, and have another pair in this style that that I’ve had for over six years. Since I have a really narrow foot, shoe shopping can be a struggle. So when I find a style of shoes I like, I tend to get multiple colors. I have lost track of how many compliments I have gotten on these boots. If you’re in the market for a pair of cowgirl boots, Ariat is a great choice. It is a high quality, reputable brand, but not as expensive as some of the other well-known boot brands out there.

On Easter morning, I also wore the Vince Camuto jacket from TJ Maxx featured in this post.
I hope that everyone had a Happy Easter. As fun as it is to pick out the perfect dress and break out the seersucker for the first time in months, the most important aspect of the day is celebrating Jesus. I am so thankful that He paid the ultimate price for my sins and that I can have eternal life and hope through Him. That is a reality I celebrate every day!
