Top Planners for 2018-2019

Hey y’all-happy August! Seriously, 2018 is flying by. So the start of August also means time to break in a new agenda. Even though I’m no longer a student, I still look forward to picking out a new planner each year. Confession: I’m not the best at writing everything down in my agenda, since my schedule is pretty consistent from week to week, and my brain remembers the additional items pretty easily. This year, however, I want to be better about utilizing my planner to the fullest by writing everything down. So, in honor of a new agenda year, I thought I would share which 2018-2019 planner I purchased, as well as a few other great options if you’re still on the lookout!

This year I selected a Lilly Pulitzer agenda in the multi gypset paradise print, which has pineapples. Big surprise there, right?! I believe 2018-2019 is my ninth year getting a Lilly agenda. The Lilly agendas come in multiple sizes-medium, large, and jumbo. I have gotten the large size most years, including this year. A couple years I went with the medium in hopes that it would be easier to tote around. However, I found that there wasn’t much space at all to write things down in the spaces for weekends. And weekends tend to be when I have more miscellaneous activities to keep track of that aren’t part of my normal weekly routine. So after a couple years of trying the medium size Lilly agenda, I went back to the large. Although Lilly Pulitzer planners are 17-month agendas, I only use mine for 12 months and start a new one each August. You can get a closer look at the 2018-2019 Lilly agenda here.

A Couple Fun Features

In addition to the standard month-at-a-glance pages, weekly pages, address pages, and note pages, Lilly agendas include some fun vacation planning pages. These pages feature spaces to write down your itinerary, things you want to do, and packing list. I believe Lilly first introduced these pages to their agendas a few years ago, and I think it is such a great addition.

In addition, Lilly Pulitzer planners have a page of stickers at the front that you can use to add some extra pizazz to your planner pages. Who doesn’t love stickers?!

You can also see that there are nice colorful tabs to help you quickly locate a specific month. Also, the cover page for each month has a fun print and saying!

Additional 2018-2019 Planner Options

If I wasn’t a loyalist to Lilly planners, I might choose one of these options:

Kate Spade Large Spotty Dot Planner
Kate Spade Things We Love Medium Planner
I’ve always been a bit intrigued by the Kate Spade planners. Maybe one year I will switch things up and get Kate Spade instead of Lilly for my agenda.

3 Happy Hooligans Big Confetti Planner
3 Happy Hooligans “Happy Is the Only Plan” Planner
Jadelynn Brooke (who makes the most adorable preppy t-shirts, read more here) has a line of gift items called “3 Happy Hooligans” and it includes planners with happy and cheerful designs.

Day Designer for Target
When I asked y’all on Instagram what 2018-2019 planner you were using, several of y’all mentioned that you loved Day Designer, including their line for Target. (PS. If you aren’t hanging out with me already on Instagram, I’d love to have ya!)
